Videogame Time
1. What was the first video game you have ever played?
Something on the Commodore 64 I think. Or the Atari. I seriously have no idea.

2. What was your first console?
Atari something, but my first console that was actually mine was a Sega Genesis.

3. Have you ever visited a video game arcade?
Only the ones in places like Putt-Putt and Celebration Station and such.

4. What was your first handheld?
A teal Gameboy Color that still works.

5. What was the first game you've beaten/cleared completely? (Got to the last level/got 100%/beat high score, etc.)
I think Sonic the Hedgehog 2 or something.

6. Games based off of real sports: Yay or Nay?
A loud resounding nay.

7. Online games: Yay or nay?
Only if they're free and devoid of morons.

8. Do you play any Massively Multiplayer Online RPG games? (MMORPGs?)
I play MapleStory on occasion. Because it's free.

9. Do you play any virtual pet games? (Neopets, Teripets, Aftermathzone, etc.)
I used to be really into Neopets and AftermathZone, but AMZ seems to have disappeared and the Neopets site sucks now.

10. Puzzle games and Strategy games: Yay or Nay?
I love and adore real-time strategy games and have a soft spot for well-done turn-based strategy games, and puzzle games are fun too if they catch my fancy.

11. Do you play any RPGs?
A few. I tend to like action RPGs most; in terms of turn-based RPGs, I like Paper Mario 2 (Can't stand Paper Mario 1) and a select few others.

12. Do you play any Platformer games?
If they're done correctly, sure.

13. What was the first game/console/handheld of yours that stopped working?
None. All of my consoles continue to work.

Characters/Plot
14. Do you actually care if a game has a plot or do you just play games for the gameplay?
It depends. If it doesn't NEED a plot, like Rampage, then fine. But otherwise, a game needs a good mix of everything to be enjoyable.

15. Name a few video game characters that are your favorites.
Bowser, Koops, Leon S. Kennedy, Raphael, Kilik, Sgt. Cortez, Charmander/Charizard, Phoenix Wright, Tails, Lizzy (from Rampage), Gordon Freeman, and Scaler. Among others.

16. Name a few series that are your favorites
Half-Life, Age of Wonders, Rise of Nations, Sid Meier's Civilization, Soul Calibur, Dungeon Keeper, Command and Conquer. I also really loved Nox, but that was just one game, so it's not a series.

17. Has a video game ever made you cry?
Maybe once or twice. I can't remember really. Probably not.

18. Has a video game character annoyed you so much that you wanted him removed from the game?
Nah. I'm fairly tolerant when it comes to characters.

19. Do you "pair" or "ship" characters up with one another? (make/create/write romance involving them)
Dear Lord, no.

20. Do you write video game fanfiction?
I once wrote a Dungeon Keeper fanfic. It was terrible.

21. Do you draw video game fanart?
Of course not.

22. Do you come up with theories on how a character came to be/what he or she would do in a situation/why he or she is moody/etc.
I might have. Just as a little daydream while playing.

23. Are you a "fanboy" or "fangirl" of any character?
I adore characters in phases, so if I do "fanboy" over one character, then the character switches with another after a month or so.

Boss Battles/Villains
24. Hardest Boss Battle

25. Most Frustrating Boss Battle
Ones that don't explain what the hell you're supposed to be doing. Have the boss give you a hint, make a key target flash, just do something.

26. Most Rewarding Boss Battle
It's always rewarding to send the boss into some awesome death scene and have the hero say something cool afterwards. If a villain has infuriated me to the point where I say "See you in hell" when I defeat them, then the battle is rewarding.

27. Funnest Boss Battle
Can't say for sure. There are a lot of boss battles that I love to replay.

28. Most Boring Boss Battle
A lot of turn-based RPG bosses tend to be this way.

29. Boss Battle that dragged out for a long, long time.
I could never bring myself to do the Elite Four on Pokemon more than once.

30. Boss Battle with the coolest music
Hecubah's battle song from Nox and the music that plays during the fight with Eldrith the Betrayer on Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance.

31. Most Surprising Boss Battle
I've had some that were surprisingly EASY before. I don't think I've have anything surprisingly difficult before; I'm always expecting the worst.

32. What's your all time favorite villain?
I really can't decide so I'm just gonna say Draco Urnbrast.

33. What's your all time least favorite villain?
No one comes to mind, but it'd be someone who's just entirely useless in the scheme of the game and only there because the game needed a villain.

34. Do you ever feel sorry for the villains?
Only when I'm mopping the floor with their asses.

35. Are there any villains that seem like they should be playing for the good guys, but aren't?
Bowser, actually. I want you as the protagonist, koopa king!

36. Most malicious villain
Thomas Magruder from Gun. He's the cause of simply the most torture I've ever seen in a video game.

37. Most suprising villain

Favorites
38. What is your all-time favorite 2D Game?
I could never make a complete decision. The old Sonics were great; I loved the game Gods; Jurassic Park Rampage Edition was enthralling...

39. What's your favorite 3D game? (PS1/N64 generation)
Don't know for sure. Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie is certainly up there. Ocarina of Time is another contender, but I'm not putting there just because everyone else is.

40. What's your favorite arcade game?
Rampage I think.

41. What's your favorite next-gen game? (Gamecube/PS2/X-Box)
Again, so many contenders.

42. Sequels/long series: Yay or nay?
If they're done correctly.

43. What's your favorite Online Game?
Don't play enough to know.

44. What's your favorite console?
As of now, Gamecube and PS2. They're even.

45. What's your favorite handheld?
Nintendo DS

46. Have you ever got yourself involved in a "console war"? (arguing that a console is better than another console)
Yes. I lost.

47. Have you ever defended a character/game/console you liked in an argument? Which one?
The Gamecube. I'm not a Nintendo fanboy, but calling me a homosexual child because of the console I chose is not going to fly.

48. Name a game that you like but everyone else seems to hate.
I might have to say the Gex the Gecko series. I loved them, but they were indeed just below-average Mario 64-imitation platformers.

49. Name a character that you like but everyone else seems to hate
I think I'll have to say Koops. He's just adorable.

50. Name a game that you hate but everyone else seems to like
Halo. I love first-person shooters, but Halo never impressed me as much as everyone said. I'm sorry, but "amazing multiplayer experience" doesn't count. I could also put Final Fantasy in this slot, but I don't "hate" it, I simply have not played it and don't care enough to start.

51. Name a character that you hate but everyone else seems to love.
I dunno. I don't usually outright hate characters. And if I do, then everyone else tends to hate them, too.

52. Have you ever stopped before you finished a game because it was too frustrating to go on?
Uh huh. Several times.

53. Will you stop at NOTHING to get 100% in a video game?
If it's not worth it, then I'll stop post haste.

54. Have you ever injured yourself at a video game? (Space Invader wrist and Mario Party 1 blister victims may answer yes)
Aside from minor thumb aches, no.

55. Has a horror/survival genre video game scared you to the point that you refused to finish the game? Did you get nightmares from said game?
Eternal Darkness creeped me out a lot, but I still finished it. I haven't had nightmares.

56. Have you ever thrown a controller/disc/cartridge in a fit of frustration?
Never. I can't bring myself to. It's a waste of perfectly fine technology. (Although some Genesis and Atari games could be sacrificed)

57. Do you need to blow/clean certain games to get them to play?
A couple of my old Genesis cartridges. I blow on Jurassic Park Rampage Edition but I think it just refuses to work now. That's why I have emulators.

58. Have you ever played a game for so long that you missed sleep over it?
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance and Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Because my brother kept me up.

59. Were you ever involved in the Pokemon craze?
In the first generation, completely. The second and third (and now fourth) generations almost completely ended it for me.

60. Last but not least: Do you picture yourself playing video games 10, 20, or 30 years from now?
Of course.
